One of
the most obscure 70s German rock items that was released in 1977 on the
label of a cultish German cigarette brand -
FRITZ MUELLER is also known as
EBERHARD KRANEMANN and was an associate of KRAFTWERK & NEU - this sole
album is nowadays rare as any private pressing and containing an odd
mixture of krautrock, heavy psych sounds, ZAPPAeske
rock satire, fuzz
guitars, electronic vibes in the HARMONIA / NEU vein, freaked-out comedy
lyrics, punky trashy garage,
feedback avantgarde noise, GURU GURU moments
- if any
Angloamerican artist would have ever recorded an album like this with a
track like "Fritz Mueller Traum" (8.40), it would
be called "psych
monster" and cost a thousand dollars!!! - SWARA SAMRAT says: "The essence
of the first ten years of
krautrock, just at the point of time when NDW
started.
This guy
was surfing lightyears before the spirit if time. A masterpiece!!!"
